You are a leaf that doesn’t know it is part of a tree
The essay is written from the perspective of four inhabitants of Urk: a porcelain doll, a parachute signal rocket, green Heineken shards and a clay boulder, where they answered a question: Who are you Urk and what do you have to say?
The text visits different neighbourhoods in the village, while exploring the town’s contemporary reality and its relationship with its own history.
